Sandra K. Malin

Sandra K. "Sandy" Malin, age 63, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born on August 20, 1950 to Donald and Lillian (Balla) Ziegler in Toledo. Sandy worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was an award winning gardener, liked to crochet and knit and loved animals. Sandy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Duane "Dobie" Malin; sons, Jim (Jennifer) and Brian (Michaelene) Malin; grandchildren, J.D., Lillian and Leah; brother, Steve "Butch" (Kathy) Ziegler; and many other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300).
