Sandra Sue Hazard

Sandra Sue Hazard, age 62, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away January 23, 2024. Sandra was born October 2, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio to James and Gladys (Heady) Biggs.

Sandra retired as a real estate agent. After retirement, she enjoyed going to flea markets and thrift stores, buying unique items to sell on Ebay. She definitely enjoyed the beaches and sunshine, especially in Florida, camping, taking trips to Cedar Point, and playing her online games. Sandra loved listening to good music, especially Bruce Springsteen. Most of all, family was most important to Sandra; taking family trips and spending time with her grandchildren, whom were her pride and joy, were the highlights in her life. The memories made together will forever be remembered. This is not goodbye, but we will see you again!

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, Gerald Hazard, whom she married in November of 1988; son, Scott Pickens; daughters, Ericka (Charles) Sodd and Heather (Zack) Shepherd; grandchildren, Amber (Kegan) Wood, Aubrey, Tyler, Jazmine, Norah, and Noelle; mother, Gladys Biggs; siblings, Jimmy Biggs, Johnny (Brenda) Biggs, Gail (Jim) Roth, Bobby Biggs, and Marie (Dennis) Durbin; brother-in-law, Terry Whaley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, James Biggs; grandson, Miles Shepherd; sister, Linda Whaley; and two nephews, Kirk Whaley and Bryan Miller.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:00 am. Following the funeral, Sandra will be laid to rest at Whiteford Union Cemetery in Lambertville, Michigan.
