Sandra Louise Blackford

Sandra Louise Blackford, born November 7, 1946, she passed away at her home August 8, 2024. Sandy was born in Toledo, Ohio to Albert and Grace (Hardy) Suffety.

Sandra retired after 20 years at the University of Toledo, where she was a custodian.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her four loving children, Misty Teets, Darlene (Tim) Sumrel, Dennis Blackford and Kahn Williams; and brother, Joseph (Carol) Suffety. Along with her surviving children, she has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends, who lovingly referred to her as, Ms. B. 

She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Toni Blackford; her long time companion, Kenneth Harbaugh; parents; and three brothers, Stephen Suffety, James Blackford and Richard Blackford. 

Memorial services will be held August 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Shoreland Park Shelter House, 5470 Patriot Dr. Toledo, Ohio 43611.
