Sammie G. Machcinski

Sammie G. Machcinski, age 71, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 26, 1946 to Samuel and Myrtle (Crabtree) Chambers in Nashville, Tennessee. Sammie was employed with Advanced Cleaning for 35 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo, tending to her plants, and spending time with her family. Sammie especially loved being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Machcinski; sister, Grace Jolley; brother, Jerre Crabtree; son, Phillip Ellis; and grandson, Jeffrey Radabaugh. Sammie is survived by her significant other, James Machcinski; loving children, Wanda (Dan Mills) Molter, Brian (Shelly) Ellis and Sy Klewer; grandchildren, Casey (Paul) Hem, Gregory (Michelle) Molter, Miles (Paige) Ellis, Taylor Ellis, Jake Radabaugh, Katelynn Radabaugh and Cameron Ellis; great-grandchildren, Adam Hem, Corey Molter, Luke Molter, Camden Ellis, Dominic Hem, Ethan Hem, Cooper Ellis, Miles Ellis, Brysen Molter, Madeline Ellis and Brandon Radabaugh; nephews, Glen (Lisa) Crabtree and Eric (Kara) Haag; great-nephew, Shane (Jenny) Crabtree; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
