Samantha Lynn Small, age 25, of Toledo and formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at home where she was surrounded by her loving and devoted parents. She was born on January 21, 1991 to Byron and Lynn (Ball) Harris in Jacksonville, Florida.
Sammy was born with Rubenstein-Tabyi Syndrome (RTS). Her family moved to Ohio when she was 12 years old in efforts for Sammy to receive a better quality of life. She had an infectious smile, a heartfelt and soulful laugh. She loved all animals, especially her ESA dog, Bozley and her cat, Colt. Her family will dearly miss her, her giggle and her mischievous antics.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Byron and Lynn Harris; sisters, Rachel (Amanda) Harris, Rebecca (Andrew) Ricks, Diann (Anthony) Moran and Michelle (Michael Hartman) Harris; nieces, Kenzie, Keyla, Olivia and Natalyne; nephews, Benjamin, Xavier, Christian and A.J.; paternal grandfather, Raymond Harris; Aunt Alisa Ralph and Uncle David Ralph; Uncle's, Carl, Tony, Marty and John Harris.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Craig officiating.
