Sam "Buddy" Miller II

Sam "Buddy" Miller II, born on January 1, 1986, in Toledo, Ohio, was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cherished friend whose warmth and spirit touched all who knew him. Tragically, Buddy departed this world on September 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and laughter that will be fondly remembered.

Buddy devoted his career to Miller Landscaping, building not only a successful business but also lasting relationships within the Toledo community. His passion for his work echoed through the beautiful yards he created, each project reflecting his dedication and creativity.

As a man of many interests, Buddy's heart truly belonged to his family and friends. He was known for his kind, loyal, and fun-loving personality, always ready to share a laugh or lend a helping hand. He had a great enthusiasm for life, embodying the joy that comes from spending time with loved ones. His proudest accomplishments were the bonds he formed, especially with his beloved nieces, Lillian and Kennedi, who brought him immense joy.

A fan of sports, Buddy was passionate about football and hockey, proudly supporting all teams from Pittsburgh. He also held a special place in his heart for Notre Dame Football. His adventurous spirit led him to many exciting travels, particularly to Las Vegas, where he created unforgettable memories.

Buddy is survived by his father, Sam A. Miller Sr.; his sister, Kristin Cicerella, and her husband Chris; his cherished nieces, Lillian and Kennedi Cicerella; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends who will forever hold his memory close.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Ellen Miller, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

A visitation will be held in his honor at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, on December 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Buddy’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him, reminding us all to appreciate life’s moments and cherish our connections. His legacy of love and kindness will be felt for generations to come.
