Sally A. Young

Sally Young age 92, of Waterville, Ohio passed away on May 5, 2024. She was born on April 2, 1932, to George E. and Ethel C. (Baker) Roth. Sally married Richard Young on November 10, 1951 and they were married 61 years before he passed away in April 2013. They raised their kids in Temperance, MI before moving to Cement City, MI.

Sally enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the summer with her grandkids, taking them on pontoon rides, fishing and visiting farms. She also enjoyed antiques, garage sales, dark chocolate and "Uncle Sam". Sally had a love for all animals and was never without dogs or cats.

Surviving are her children, Rick (Maureen) Young, Steve (Mindy) Young, John (Christine) Young and Mark (Trista) Young; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry and sister in-law, Gloria. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her brother, George Roth.

A graveside service to honor Sally's memory will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 12 noon at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 Central Ave. Toledo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society or a charity of choice.
