Sally Sue Vollmar

Sally Sue Vollmar, age 87, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Heartland at Flower Hospital. She was born on January 30, 1932 to Charles and Mary (Butler) Skeldon in Toledo. Sally worked for 5/3rd Bank as a Title Loan Officer, retiring after 20 years of service. In younger years she enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards with her late husband, John L. Vollmar. Together they often golfed and bowled in local leagues. Sally was a great cook and she loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Minette Sue (John) Nadolny; Thomas J. Vollmar, Todd S. Vollmar (Elizabeth Babcock) and John M. (Monica) Vollmar; grandchildren, John C. (Tabatha), Ryan (Sarah), Kellyn (Shawn), T.J. (Charity), Jessica (Tommy), Kayla (Evan) and Johnny; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Kerstin, Kennedy, Aislynn, Ashley, Maddie, Laura, Noah, Sage, Jon, Jack, Jeffrey, Joslynn, Daulton, Oliver and Evie; brothers, Charles (Shirley) Skeldon and Graham Skeldon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kent (Denise) Vollmar, Kay Vollmar and Jerry (Debbie) Vollmar and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Vollmar.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 4-8:00 p.m. Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with her Funeral Service starting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
