Sally Lou Johnson, age 67, a longtime resident of Toledo, passed away Friday, April 2nd, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born November 27th, 1942 to Frank and Velma "Billie" Snyder in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sally and her late husband Chet were very active in a Traveling Youth Bowling League for many years. She was also an avid Nascar fan, favoring Dale Earnhardt and enjoyed traveling to area casinos to test her luck. Most importantly Sally was a loving mother and grandmother cherishing the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Chet Johnson. She is survived by her loving daughters, Shellie (Teddy) Stone of Toledo and Tina (Robert A. Arquette) Johnson also of Toledo; grandson, Nick Stone and sister, Donna (Joe) Johnson.
Sally's request before her death was to donate her body to science through the University of Toledo Medical Center in hopes of helping others through research.
There will be no visitation or services.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
