Sally Johns

Sally Trompe Johns, age 78, of Toledo and Sylvania, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 in Swan Point Care Center, Maumee. Sally was born December 17, 1927 in Defiance, Ohio. She was a graduate of Delta High School. Sally was a school volunteer and was passionate about supporting and attending her children's swim meets, as well as, other activities through the years. She was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her family. Sally also loved the Christmas Holidays and all the excitement they brought.

In addition to her parents, Edna and Homer Mohler, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Norman R. Johns. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn (Don) Kern of Bowling Green, OH; children, Jill (Gerry) Johns-Cyranowski of Grand Rapids, MI; Chris (Janeen) Johns of Castle Rock, CO and Jeff (Therese) Johns of Westerville, OH; grandchildren, Adam; Leslie and Dara Cyranowski; Phillip; Kelley and Jenna Johns and Matthew and Trevor Johns.

The family will receive guests Monday from 1-2:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419) 473-0300 with Funeral Services will beginning Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
