Sadie Mae "Mama Sadie" Wilson

Mrs. Sadie Mae Robinson Wilson, better known as “Mama Sadie” was born on August 5, 1933, in Clarksdale, Mississippi passed away into the arms of Jesus on June 22, 2024, She was the daughter of the late John Robinson Sr. and Carrie Bell Sanders Robinson.

Mama Sadie accepted Christ at an early age and wa a member of Rossford First Baptist Church under the care of Pastor F. Alexander Sheares. Mama Sadie was an Eastern Star member where she held the Worthy Matron title three times,

Mama Sadie leaves to Cherish her memory fourteen children, Hubert Robinson (Leona) Andrew Green, Linda Stevens, Ravas Nelson, Brenda Wilson, Diane Jackson (Eugene) Willie Wilson Jr. Ritafaye Wilson, Phyllis Jones, Daphne Wilson, Wiley Wilson (Darlene) Levester Wilson (Joy) Ann Marie Kelley, Jamiea Wilson. A host of Grandchildren Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren.

Mama Sadie also proceeds in rest with Husband Willie Wilson Sr. daughter Patricia Thompson (daughter) Carrie Copeland (daughter) Mary Elizabeth Wilson, (son) Keith Phillip Wilson. Siblings John Robinson Jr., Robert Robinson, Mudrice Robinson and Katie Kitchen.

She danced as if no one was watching, so when you think of Mama Sadie..."Dance as if no one is watching!". She was the Pillar of the Wilson family and will be deeply missed. Rest in Paradise Mama Sadie.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will begin immediately following visitation at 12 Noon, Interment will follow at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
