Ruth Urso

Ruth L. Urso, age 87, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, November 18, 2013 at the Legacy of Willowbend, Plano TX, where she was a resident for the last ten months. Ruth was born October 3, 1926 in Anmoore, West Virginia, to Angel and Lucia (Garcia) Gonzalez. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and an active member of St. Clement Catholic Church for over 50 years. Ruth worked as a Teacher's Aid for Washington Local Schools for many years retiring in 1986.

In addition to her parents and four siblings, Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John. She is survived by her children, Lucia (Gerald) Welch, John (Bonnie), Rosanne Macut, Ruth Ann (Harvey) Eagleston; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 9:15 am. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Celebration beginning at 10:00 am at St. Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville Road. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice.
