Ruth Marie Macdonald

Ruth M. MacDonald, age 72, of Toledo, passed away September 14, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Ruth was born April 17, 1946 in Toledo to John and Norma (Allen) Wallace. Ruth was a graduate of Swanton High School and owned and operated her own charter boats; Eye Hunter and Pirate Lady. She enjoyed spending time with family, quilting, doing crafts, sewing and antiquing.

Ruth is survived by her children, Teresa (Richard) Mapes Karen (Eric Nerenberg) Sharp, and Thomas (Wendy) Steusloff, Jr., siblings, John (Mary) Wallace, Jr., Rose (John) Seawater, Barbara (Gene) Hudson, Leroy (Deb) Wallace and Norma Jean (Jim) Kirkum; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Chelsea, Rachel, Gina, Mike, Hannah, Sean and great grandchildren, Miaj, Leilah, Jeremiah, Jr., Violet, Devon and Elizabeth.

The family will receive guests Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 1:00 pm. at the funeral home.
