Ruth M. Hough

Ruth M. Hough, 88, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2012. She was born on February 29, 1924 to the late Hattie and Leonard Palmer in Sylvania, Ohio.
Ruth worked as a Seamstress during WWII sewing uniforms for the Navy. She also worked at Banner Mattress, Lee's Trim Shop, Distinctive Costumes and Bush Marina. Ruth also enjoyed cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert and son, Lynn. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbie Carsten; grandchildren, Michael (Alesia) Carsten, Heidi (Aaron) Hatch and Lynnette Carsten; nine great-grandchildren; special niece, Cindy Childs and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road, Toledo (419-473-0300). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
