Ruth Haddix

Ruth Virginia Haddix, age 93, of Toledo, passed away July 25, 2015 at the Franciscan Care Center. Prior to her passing she was a resident of Oakleaf Village. Ruth was born July 13, 1922 in Pocatello, Idaho to Dewey and Grace (Jackson) Raymond. She worked for a number of years as a bookkeeper and also helped her husband operate a Sterling Dairy store on Upton Avenue. However, the role she enjoyed most was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She married Paul V. Haddix on November 19, 1944 in Pocatello. They were residents of northwest Ohio and enjoyed a number of years in central Florida. Ruth was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers. She is survived by her children JoAnne (Patrick) Dixon, David (Carol) and Neil (Linda) Haddix, grandchildren; Steven Dixon, Julie Young, Paul Haddix, Carrie Alexander, Eli Haddix and Nathan Haddix, 5 great grandchildren and her sister Barbara Henderson of Grangeville, Idaho.

Family funeral services for Ruth will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Sylvania and Senior Independence Hospice in Ruth's memory.
