Mickey's family was the most important thing in her life. She will be remembered for her compassion and selflessness and her gentle spirit. She was God's angel here on earth. Everyone she knew, as well as those she just met will miss her special "hugs". Mickey was a giving and kind-hearted person who put cares and concerns of others before her own. She was a person who found great pleasure in the simple things in life and saw the world in rose-colored glasses. After their retirement over 30 years ago, she and Jim dedicated their lives to visiting their many friends at hospice, hospitals and nursing homes around the area. As volunteers for 13 years their treat for the week was listening to second graders say their Bible verses at Toledo Christian School.
