Ruth B. Snyder, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Thursday October 17, 2002 at Heartland Holly-Glen. She was born December 20, 1925 to Andrew and Alvina (Wilde) Zitzman in Toledo. Ruth was a Graduate of Waite High School. She was a member of the V.F.W. #606 Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband; Floyd L. Snyder, 1 sister, and 3 brothers. She is survived by her daughter: Debra Dziad and son; Perry (Wanda) Snyder both of Toledo, sister: Rose Marie Brushaber of Florida, brother: Thomas (Bea) Zitzman of Toledo, grandchildren: Dorian (Shelley) Dziad, Jammie and Chad Snyder, great grandchildren: Nathaniel and Boris Dziad.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer–Farley Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Douglas Meilander. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
The Snyder family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heartland Holly-Glen and Heartland Hospice for the loving care and kindness they showed to Ruth.
