Ruth Ann Friedel

Ruth Ann Friedel, 86, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born March 30, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio.
She will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Ruth Ann will also be remembered as a proud homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed reading, baking, playing card games and listening to talk radio.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace E. Friedel, parents, Alfred Schroeder and Florence F. Schroeder Harrison, and step-father William R. Harrison and step-brother Robert L. Harrison.
Left to cherish Ruth Ann's memory are her children, Kathleen A. Friedel, Janine R. (Doyle) Gouty, Aline M. Wells, Wallace E. (Jeanne) Friedel II, grandchildren, Kevin D. (Sarah) Wells, Raymond A. Friedel, and Anna F.D. Friedel, and great-granddaughter Lydia N. Wells.
There will be no visitation, and services will be private per Ruth Ann's wishes. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
