Russell R. Grohowski

Russell R. Grohowski, age 59, left his earthly home to join his Heavenly Father on May 7, 2015. He was born on April 16, 1956 to Donna and Edward Grohowski in Toledo, Ohio.

Russ spent most of his life in Mesa, Arizona where he raised his family. He worked there for 35 years as a Concrete Finisher. In his youth, Russ loved golfing and playing softball. He enjoying cooking, watching Nascar and was a loyal Detroit Tigers fan. Russ married Linda Bruce on April 13, 2013. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Russ's faith was a very important part of his everyday life. When he moved home and began his life with Linda, the two of them raised her grandson, Aiden, together. The three of them had such a close and special bond and will miss Russ very much. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, his sense of humor will be missed by all!

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Linda; his mother, Donna; his children, Kelley (Mike) Williams, Lindsey (Kenny) Colman and Jared Farnsworth; their mother, Kimalene Farnsworth; step-children, Tabitha, Eddie and Andrea; siblings, Randy (Joan), Cynthia (Tom) Hughes, Diana (Jerry) Dombeck and Steve; grandchildren, Samantha, Korbyn, Mikella, Kaden, Ezechial, Kysen and multiple nieces and nephews. Russ was preceded in death by his father and baby brother, Robert.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
