Russell John McKay, age 59, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. He was born on August 6, 1959 to James C. McKay and Barbara M. (Beckley) McKay in Toledo. Russ attended Roy C. Start High School and worked construction throughout Toledo. Most important to Russ was his family, taking care of his mom and his older brother, Donnie. Russ will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his dear mother, Barbara McKay; brother, Paul McKay; nephew, Benjamin McKay; aunt, Bonnie Stokes; cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James C. McKay; brothers, Timothy and recently, Donnie McKay.
At the request of the family, all services for Russ will be private. He will be laid to rest in Restlawn Memorial Park.
