Russell A. Hills, age 71, passed away on December 11, 2018. He was born on November 1, 1947 to the late Zelda and Russell Hills in Toledo, Ohio.
Russ retired from Canadian National Railroad after 42 years. He was an avid sports and car fanatic. Russ loved the outdoors, especially gardening and spending time by the water. He looked forward to having everyone over for family gatherings.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 31 years, Kathy; son, Burt (Silvia) Hills; step-sons, Christopher (Becky) Gwozdz, Michael (Theresa) Gwozdz; grandchildren, Brendan and Sophia Hills and 7 step-grandchildren. Russ was preceded in death by his step-son, Matthew Gwozdz and brother, James Hills.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
