Rudy Mendez

Rudy H. Mendez, age 77, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on January 9, 1929 to Marciano and Juanita (Hernandez) Mendez in Austin, Texas. Rudy was a member of the Toledo Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Alfredo Mendez, sisters, Aurora Caudillo and Rosa Lombardo and sister-in-law, Alejandra Mendez. Rudy is survived by his loving family: Christina (John) Barrera and John Jr. and the entire Barrera family; brothers: Natividad (Luvina), Federico (Josephina) and Jesus Mendez; sisters: Benita (Macario) Tobias and Celia (Pablo) Gil and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) from 2 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
