Royine Lynn Chamberlain, age 76, of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born February 28, 1947 in Toledo to Roy and Violet (Scheffert) Campbell. Royine was the most loving person you could have ever met. She had a passion for hockey, reading, attending church, watching OSU football and so many more. Royine served as a LPN for 40 years at various facilities and specialties and retired from N.O.D.C in 2009.
Royine loved going to lunch with her granddaughters and getting pedicures together. She would either be out with friends from church, sitting in her sunroom reading her Bible, feeding the backyard squirrel, Bushy, too many peanuts, or simply just walking her backyard picking up all the golf balls from the golfers on the course behind her home. If she wasn't doing one of these things you could find her sitting in her recliner wrapped up with her heated blanket, her cat, Jack, between her legs and the TV blaring Judge Judy or Dr. Phil for the 100th time.
But most of all, Royine had a deep love for her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. She will be incredibly missed and cherished by all who knew her.
Royine is survived by her sons, Aaron (Heather) Johnson and Sean Rable; grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Hailey (Noah) Mausser, Hayven Johnson, Lily Rable and Serena Rable; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Mausser; brother, Roy "Butch" (Lisa) Campbell; nephews and cousins.
The family will receive guests Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The family will receive guests, Friday, February 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Calvary Church, 1360 Conant Street, Maumee, OH.
