Roy "Porkey" E. Sterrett, Jr.

Roy "Porkey" E. Sterrett, Jr, age 63, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away December 15, 2024. He was born to Roy and MayJo (Gleason) Sterrett, Sr on July 10, 1961. Roy enjoyed cooking and fishing, and he loved Elvis and bald eagles.

Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy Sterrett, Sr; mother, MayJo Prather; step-father, Roy Prather; grandparents, Charles Gleason, Martha Gleason Riggs; and step-grandfather, Herschal Riggs. He is survived by his loving wife, Barb (McMullen); daughter, Maylynn Sterrett; sons, Roy Sterrett, III, Austin (Sophia Incorvaia) Sterrett, and Donald McMullen; granddaughter, Hadi Hancock and Delanee McMullen; grandson, Donald McMullen; God daughter, Karri Luce; brothers, Chuck Sterrett and Donald Browning, Jr; sister, Cheryl (Dennis) Griffith; sisters-in-law, Tina Prather and Martha Luce; brother-in-law, Tom Prather, Jr; and many nieces and nephews that loved their uncle whole-heartedly, along with many cousins that he loved as well. 

The family will receive guests on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel (3655 King Rd, Toledo, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Tony Pisano.
