Rosie Lee Robinson, age 90, passed away on July 14, 2022. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Milton and Marie (Nash) Robinson. She worked as a machine operator for Hunt Wesson for over 30 years before retiring. Rosie was an avid gardener and bingo player. She loved to take long strolls around the neighborhood, and she loved being active in her grandchildren's lives. Rosie took a great pride in cooking for her family, particularly those family functions where she brought out her special gold silverware. She was well known for her meatballs, dressing, greens and sweet potatoes. Rosie was also known for her sense of style and her perfectly ironed clothes.
In addition to her parents, Rosie was also preceded in death by her sons, Willie Robinson and Ronald Dowl, Sr.; grandson, Jermaine McNair, Sr; and she is also now reunited with all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her grandchildren, Rosalyn McNair, Jerome McNair, Rolanda Wimberly, Ronald Dowl, Jr., Dijon Dowl, Dion Dowl, Taylor Dowl, and Tyler Dowl. She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as Amma and Bema, Roshaunda McNair, Jermaine McNair, Jr., Patrick (Shalonda) Wimberly, Jr., Rekia Moreland, Tyleisha McNair, Tamera McNair, Raven Moreland, PaSean Wimberly, Ramaya Byrd, RaKayla Gant, Madison Dowl, and Ja'Nyla Dowl; special great-great-granddaughter, Rashiya Davis; 11 great-great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Sylvia Dowl; and her honorary-daughter-in-law, Regina McNair.
In following Rosie's wishes, there will be no services. Donations in Rosie's memory may be sent to her residence for her family.
