Rosie Lee Hill, passed peacefully at home, on Friday, January 25, 2013.
She was born August 8, 1932 to Iris Gail. She worked many years as a Domestic Work.
Rosie Lee, accepted Christ at an early age. She joined St. James Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Bishop James. Rosie was a faithful member until her illness.
She was a mother of the church and served on a variety committees. She was a missionary and was always on a mission to different nursing homes to minister to the sick and anybody else who was in need.
Rosie was preceded in death by her mother, Iris Gail; stepfather, Walter Gail; son, Nathaniel Mathews, Jr., and step-son, Tyrone Hill.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her devoted husband of 31 years, Cleo Hill; daughter, Charlene Mathews; step-son, Avila Hill; step-daughter, Frances (Tommy) Hill-Bolton; grandchildren; great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
On behalf of Cleo Hill, he would like to express a special thanks to Rose's caregivers Kristin Holmes (who Rosie nick name, "Shawnta") and Katie Holmes.
Thanks to Odyssey Hospice, Jason RN, who cared for Rosie's medical needs at home and also to Rosie's doctor, Dr. Yrania Fahoury.
