Rosemary Preston, age 66 of Toledo, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 30, 1945 to Ray and Bertha (Harberger) Thorp in North Union Township, Pennsylvania. Rosemary enjoyed visiting Oak Openings and looking at the wildlife and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Stephen (Char), James (Peaches), John (Rikki) and Peter (Sarah); eight grandchildren; four sisters; six brothers and several other extended family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Ray Preston, Jr. and one sister and one brother.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
