Rosemarie Hanna, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1931 to Francis P. and Helen R. (Crowley) George in Toledo. Rosemarie was an avid card player and loved nothing more than spending time with her loving family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Gearing, Eileen Best, Pat Blauvelt, Marilyn "Pudge" Schuman and Robert George. Rosemarie is survived by Robert Hanna, children: Laura (Fred) Nickens, Pam (Wayne) Bezeau, Craig (Sandra) Hanna, Donald (Stephanie) Hanna, Robin (John) Mower, Jeff Hanna and Maryanne Knapich; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and 5 more on the way; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Fr. Michael O. Brown.
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff at St. Anne Mercy Hospital, the Franciscan Care Center and to Dr. Rosemarie Osowik for all of their loving care and support given to mom through this difficult time.
