Rose Marie Thompson

Rose Marie Thompson, age 87, of South Toledo, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on January 27, 1937 to Bernard and Juanita (Slate) Meyers in Toledo. Rose worked in dispatch at AAA for over 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed watching old black and white movies and traveling to see family. Rose loved spending time with her grandchildren; they were the light of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Thompson; and son, Michael Thompson; and 9 siblings. Left to cherish Rose's memory are her children, Terry (Theresa) Thompson, Kevin Thompson and Michelle Garrison; grandchildren, Jonathan (Anna Karina), Shawn, Joseph, Jordan, Jennifer (Earnie), James, and Nichole (Sidney); great-grandchildren, Alex, Anna Maria, Bryce, Adriana, Abraham, Colt, Cavin, Archer, Sidney and one baby girl on the way; siblings, Sylvia Hartstock, Linda Meyers and Jerome (Linda) Meyers; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

There will be Graveside Services for Rose Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 W. Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43606 (meeting at the front gates and processing back together).
