Rose Marie "Rosie" Rogers (Snyder-Eicher)
Rose Marie "Rosie" Rogers, formerly of Rossford, Kingston and Perrysburg Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Hospice of NW Ohio.
Rosie married William Eicher in 1971 and he sadly passed away in 1983. Then, in 1988 she married William Rogers and became a widow one more time in 2004. She is also preceded in death by her brothers: Kenneth and Thomas Snyder; sisters: Marilyn and Nancy Coopshaw; grandson: Jack Crozier; daughter-in-law: Marcia Dunaway and her dear friends Helen Jarrett and Rosemary Tymiak.
Rosie was born to Kenneth and Celia Snyder on June 15, 1940 then later graduated from Rogers HS in 1958. She worked as an administrative assistant at Enterprise Roofing and The Carlos Salvi Company for many years. She spent many hours doing volunteer work. Rosie volunteered at St. Luke's Hospital, she delivered mobile meals, served dinners and made quilts at the Zoar Lutheran Church and hospice. Rosie also loved to volunteer every Christmas to help with the Zepf Centers Christmas Giveaway.
She is survived by her daughter Julie (Brian) Crozier of Erie, Michigan; grandchildren: Brandon Wireman, Josh Crozier and Justin Crozier; step-son: Todd (Kathy) Rogers; step son-in-law: Jerry Dunaway; step-daughter: Beverly Eicher; Five step-grandchildren; Five step-great grandchildren; sister: Roxanne (Steve) Milligan and a host of extended family and friends.Also surviving is her beloved cousin Cherie Weeks, who was always there whenever she needed anything and cared for Rosie the last years of her life. Cherie was her BEST friend, together they shared many adventures together, going to estate sales, shopping, and visiting the casino.
The family will receive guests on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services will beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home followed by burial at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Crippled Children Hospital; 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 in Rose's memory.
