Rose Marie Benjamin, age 80, passed away on March 28, 2016. She was born on July 14, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio.
Rose retired from Wayward Inn in Rossford after over 20 years as a waitress. She touched the lives of many people with her humor and compassion. Rose loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed getting together during the holidays. She always appreciated visits from friends co-workers and customers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, David, Robert, Leonard and Jackie; sisters, Kris (Mike) Learned and Lynda (Bob) Rapp; grandchildren, Michael, Josh, Patrick and Robert Jr.; great-grandchildren, Logan, Brooklyn and Madeline Rose. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and George Zimmerman and brother, Larry.
The family will receive guests on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
