Rosalie C. Dzingleski

Rosalie C. "Rosie" Dzingleski, age 76, of Toledo, was set free on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community. She was born on April 4, 1938 to Adam and Mary Dzingleski in Toledo. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and of Mary Manse College. Rosie worked as an English Teacher for Bedford Schools for 30 years before retiring. She loved singing, traveling, reading, crocheting and taking casino trips. Rosie was a longtime member of St. Stephen's Church and choir. She was also a member of MENSA. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear friend, Ann Marie Poisguy; sisters, Bernice Swinford, Florence Haupricht and Gloria Dittmer; and brothers, Joseph Dennis, Robert Brooks and Norman Dzingleski. Rosie is survived by her sisters, Carolyn Alberts and Nancy Dzingleski; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Memorial Mass will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany of the Lord, St. Stephen's Church, 1878 Genesee St., Toledo, Ohio 43605. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in the spring.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Alzheimer's Association or The Beach House.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community, Buildings 6 & 7; special caregiver, Candy Snell and Great Lakes Hospice for all of their love, care and support given to Rosie and her family through this difficult time.
