Rosalie A. Whitt

Rosalie A. Whitt, age 74, of Walbridge, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 23, 2014 at home with her devoted husband by her side. She was born on May 2, 1939 to Walter and Esther (Bear) Ross in Toledo. Rosalie enjoyed "garage saling" with her partner in crime and collected mouse figurines and beanie babies. She used to love to go camping with her husband. Rosalie loved the time spent with her family, especially the cook-outs and just being together with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Harry Holden, who was like a father to her; and daughter, Karen Chadwick. Rosalie is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Clyde Whitt; son, Alvin (Birdy) Klem; daughter, Candy Klem; grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh), Brittany (Jason), Christal, Steven and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Skyler Rae, Ashlynn Violet, Alfredo Noah and Seth Michael; sister, Esther Rickard; brother, Harry "Buddy" (Linda) Holden; partner-in-crime, Mary Lee; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
