Roosevelt Jennings

Roosevelt Jennings was born February 8, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio. He passed away March 11, 2022 in St. Ann's Hospital at the age of 71. He was a 1969 graduate of Libbey High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman. Always a dapper dressed man, he never left the house without coordinating from head to toe and flashing the most contagious smile. He loved music, movies and gave the best hugs. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Brown fan.

Roosevelt was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Jennings, Sr. and Rose Pate. He is survived by his children, Felicia (Ken Sr.) Hayes, Erin Jennings Sr.; sister, Alma R. Smith; brothers, Willie Jennings, Jr. and Alphonso Jennings; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Friday, March 18, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
