Ronnie E. Meyer

Ronnie E. Meyer, affectionately known as Ron, passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 72 in Toledo, Ohio. Born on January 7, 1953, in Bay City, Michigan, Ron was a beloved son, husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend whose warmth and passion for life touched everyone he met.

Ron dedicated 34 years to a fulfilling career at General Motors before retiring. He was a proud graduate of Bay City All Saints High School, class of 1971, where he developed both his love of music and his engaging personality. Throughout his lifetime, Ron was known for his fun-loving spirit, patience, and generosity. Those fortunate enough to know him will remember him for his captivating sense of humor and his caring nature.

A true music enthusiast, Ron enjoyed playing the drums in a band during his youth and loved listening to all types of music throughout his life. Beyond his musical talents, he had a profound appreciation for nature. Ron found joy in taking Sunday drives with his wife Pam and the family, and he delighted in the excitement of visiting the casino. Hunting was another one of his passions that brought him peace and fulfillment.

Ron’s greatest pride came from his role as a father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pam Meyer; their children, Nate Meyer, Tiffany Warden and her husband Craig, and Sara Van Aken and her husband Ryan; and his cherished grandchildren, Taylin Parsil, Jocelyn Aultman, Perry Warden, Autumn Wittenmyer, Hailey Van Aken, Harper Van Aken, and Callie Van Aken. Ron is also remembered by his sister, Jacqueline Farrand, his brother, Mike Meyer, and his wife Michelle, along with a host of other loving extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Janet Meyer, and his nephew, Ben Farrand.

Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of Ron, with visitation taking place on April 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Both events will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623.

Ronnie E. Meyer will be deeply missed but will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and caring will remain a guiding light for his family and friends.
