Ronald Varner

Ronald W. "Ron" Varner, age 75 of Toledo passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee. He was born on June 27, 1936 to Eugene and Evelyn (Bachelor) Varner in Toledo. He retired from the City of Toledo Division of Parks and Forestry after32 years of service. Ron married Cynthia (Simmons) Varner and this May they would have celebrated their 52nd anniversary.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia; children, Scott, Doug and Julie Varner; brothers, Ray and Russ.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Mayfair-Plymouth Church, 5253 Bennett Rd. from 9-11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will begin in the church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Mayfair-Plymouth Church.
