Ronald Conrad Schoedel Jr., age 62, resident of Weston, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at St. Vincent's Mercy in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on April 24, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Ronald C. Schoedel Sr. and Lynette (Eisenhart) Saylor.
Ronald had worked at Pinnacle Plastics in Bowling Green, Ohio. Having a special love for animals, he adored his cats and his "grand dog", Ginger. Ronald enjoyed fishing, especially with his grandson, Shane. He was also a very good cook, teaching Shane his ways around the kitchen. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending races; it was something he and Shane enjoyed doing together. Having an interest in NASCAR, he had many collectable die cast cars and NASCAR trading cards, which he enjoyed opening with his son-in-law, Stephen. He would enjoy going to Michigan International Speedway to "hunt" for die cast cars for completing a collection. Ronald really enjoyed to travel, especially to the Smokey Mountains, where he would travel with his family.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his wife, Donna (Liszak) Schoedel, whom he married on December 12, 1975; two children, Ronald C. (Amie) Schoedel III, Jessica (Stephen) Piddock; seven grandchildren, Shane, Ronald IV, Henry, Niklaus, Ewan, Miya, Olivia; and three siblings, Beth Fitzgibbons (Jason Siek), Jenny Schoedel, and Tony Schoedel.
