Ronald "Ron" Jason LaFountain, age 48, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at his home. He was born on June 2, 1974, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ronald David and Janice (Rawski) LaFountain.
A graduate of Woodward High School, class of 1992, he went right into the work force, at Libbey Glass, where he was a dedicated worker for 30 years. Ron was a huge sports fan; he enjoyed watching Ohio State, Detroit Tigers, Lions, Raiders, and many more. He adored animals, especially the ones he would take in through the years. Ron was a simple man with a big heart. He would donate, on numerous occasions, cat and dog food to the local humane society. A homebody, Ron liked the smaller intimate family gatherings and vacations. One of his favorite places to travel was Ft. Myers, Florida, where he would go with his wife and in-laws. Everyone that knew Ron will miss his smile and care for others (and pets). He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his soul mate of 30 years and wife, Krista Moore, whom he married on February 23, 2011; daughter, Baylee Petrey; four grandchildren; parents, Ronald D. and Janice LaFountain; mother-in-law, Dana Frank; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by numerous loved ones whom he joined in Heaven.
Per his wishes, there will not be any services held.
