Ronald J. Jakubiak

Ronald J. Jakubiak, age 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2010. He was born on February 21, 1933 to Louis and Sadie Jakubiak. Ronnie worked most of his life at the Jeep plant in Toledo, retiring in the early 80's. He loved to travel and fish, but his passion was working on cars.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Ralph and Eugene, sister Evelyn and special companion "Buddy". He is survived by his six children and son-in-law Jack, who he relied on heavily in his senior years. Ron was also blessed with 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his special friend Lee and her son Jason.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Because of Ron's love of animals, in lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society in his name.
