Ronald J. Jackson, age 85, the best Dad and Husband, passed away peacefully from congestive heart failure and other complications on August 30, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. He was born on November 1, 1926 to the late Paul and Marjorie Jackson in Angola, Indiana.
Ron owned two restaurants, Ron's Drive-In and Ron's Sandwich Shop in Toledo, Ohio. He sold paper products in Toledo until Ron and his late wife, Jane moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 1979. He sold signs and home remodeling/ pool enclosures to loyal customers. Ron loved his family, friends, dogs, fishing and woodworking and anything he decided to take on with great success. He moved back to Toledo in 2006 to be with daughter, Roni and her friend, Brenda Cluff.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane Jackson of Quincy, Michigan. Left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter, Roni Jackson and son, Mark (Brenda) Jackson and grandson, Chad. There are many other loving family and friends who made his life so precious and so enjoyable.
