Ronald J. Heringhauser, 69, passed away on October 19, 2012. He was born on December 16, 1942 to the late John and Ruth Heringhauser.
Ron worked at AP Parts for over 20 years and was very involved with the Union there. He retired from General Mills after 13 years. Ron's family will remember him for his strong political views. He was an avid reader. Ron also enjoyed writing, especially submitting articles to the Blade.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Helen. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Ron and Deborah (Floyd) Rose; sister, Phyllis Shadwick and many other loving family members.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
