Ronald Sherman Gerber

It is with great sorrow to announce Ronald Sherman Gerber suddenly passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the age of 91.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Jo Gerber, granddaughter, Kaitlin Gerber, and son-in-law Patrick Kullman. He is survived by his children Richard (Barb) Gerber, Jill (Doug) Sortman, Gail Gerber Kullman, Amy (Doug) McCaskey. Jeffrey (Jeni) Gerber, and Stacy (Matt) Kerr as well as 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Ron was born April 8, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War before going on to serve as a respected business executive until his retirement. He had a great passion for his family and friends, restoring Packards, and was a master model craftsman. Ron will be remembered for his great smile, witty sense of humor, and passion for music, especially his amazing talent on the piano and accordion.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo (6520 Pilliod Rd., Holland, Ohio) on Thursday, March 27th from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. when a funeral service will begin. Graveside service will follow at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania, Ohio.
