Ronald James Eaton was brought into this world on January 24, 1936 and left those who loved him and his world of pain on March 18, 2012, where he became one of the happiest angels in heaven.
Ron graduated from Lake High School and went on to work at L.O.F. and finally at Sun Oil where he retired as a Maintenance Supervisor after 25 years.
He enjoyed many activities in his life which included boating and fishing on many different bodies of water especially the Gulf of Mexico where he could boast he caught a 10' shark. Ron also did beautiful work with wood and glass.
After retirement he traveled and spent time living in Florida as well as Arizona before coming back to reside in Toledo.
Ron loved his family, especially his grandchildren who he teased and told stories that they did not know if were true and then would see the gleam in his eye and know they had been duped again! He was loved very much, we will miss him and feel blessed he was a part of our lives.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marcella (Marcie), sons, Robert (Pamela), Thomas (LouAnn) and daughter, Pamela (Randy) Jacob. Grandchildren, Monica (Joe) Steinmetz, Brittany (Matt) Massie, Tommy Eaton, Kelsey (Josh) Hoffman, Tyler Eaton and Jenna Jacob. Great grandchildren, Cameron and Lainey Hoffman, Addison and Brody Steinmetz. Brother, Richard (Jackie) and sister, Janice (Donald) Kulczak. Ron is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Archibald and Florence Eaton.
