Ronald M. "Budman" Dunaway

Ronald M. Dunaway, age 62 of Toledo passed away suddenly in his home, Thursday, February 22, 2005. He was born October 22, 1942 to Morris E. and Kathleen (Griner) Dunaway in Toledo. Ron was a retired Pipe Fitter / Welder for 43 years and a member of Local #50. Ron was currently employed with Sterling Pipe and Tube, Inc. as a Maintenance Manager. He had many hobbies including fishing, golf, bowling and playing pool. Ron was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, cherishing the time spent with his family. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and he leaves behind his beloved dogs, Pittsburgh and Steeler.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Morris Dunaway and granddaughter, Tieara Dunaway. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 22 years, Karen L. (Horner) Dunaway; mother, Kathleen Dunaway; sister, Sharon (John) Meeker; children, Steven Dunaway; Ron (Jolynne Flores) Dunaway and Nicole Dunaway; grandchildren, William; Cieara; Morgan; Dynasty; Koryn; Whitney and Leanna; best friend and brother-in-law, Robert Horner and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive guests Friday from 4-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be his nephew Jeffrey Sodd. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
