Ronald Bowman

Ronald Alfred Bowman, 67 of Toledo passed away Saturday, January 1, 2005 at his home after being diagnosed with Mesothelioma cancer 18 months ago. He was born November 20, 1937 to Alfred and Alma (White) Bowman of Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Ron was a truck driver for 32 years, retiring from Crown Cork & Seal in 1995. He served as a member of Swanton Lodge #0555 and as a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Toledo. He was also a member of the Zenobia Shrine, Toledo where he served in their Orential Band Unit since 1994.

Ron is survived by his wife and soul-mate of 30 years, Lois Bowman; son, Ricky Bowman; step-children, Marcia DuVall; Brian (Korrie) Benedict; Teresa (Roy) Bryant; Bradley (Linda) Benedict; brother, Gary (Judy) Bowman; 12 grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and a neice. He was preceded i death by his parents and maternal grandmother.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 9th, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Roberts Chapel Free Methodist Church, 9300 Maumee Western Rd., Monclova, Ohio.
