Rolland Ray Stieben, age 90, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord while listening to Beulah Land in his home on February 17, 2022. Rolland served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Dana Corporation after 28 years as a machinist. He was also an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and worked for the church for 25 plus years in various capacities. Rolland was known for his friendliness, bible tracts, and would help anyone that asked. His faithfulness to his God and his church will not be forgotten.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, son of Henry and Irma Stieben; he was preceded in death by his spouse of 59 years, Pauline (Roark) Stieben, and sister Norma (Stieben) Guy.
He is survived by his five adopted children whom he was very proud of, Bruce (Tina) Stieben, Glenda (Mike) Noss, Chris (Tiffiany) Stieben, Tammy Corral, and Darrel Stieben. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W Laskey Road, and funeral is Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 10:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 Laskey Road. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church (Groceries for Life or Deacons Fund).
