Rodger T. Reed, age 64, of Delta, OH passed away October 1, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 7, 1955 in Toledo to Robert and Ruth (Short) Reed. Rodger served his country in the U.S Air Force. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 29 years retiring in 2013. He enjoyed Classic Rock Music, especially Jimi Hendrix and played a Fender Guitar. Rodger was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching any sport on ESPN. He was a huge Miami Dolphin fan. Most importantly, Rodger loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Rodger is survived by his daughter, Brooke (Josh) Johnson; son, Brandon Reed; granddaughters, Morgan Johnson and Jazalynn Ackerman; siblings, Chris (Val) Reed, Terri Sturgill and Robin (Ed) Scharer; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Rodger was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ed Sturgill.

The family will receive guests Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Memorial services will be held Saturday at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
