Rock A. Nissen, age 65 from Toledo, Ohio, passed away on February 26, 2021. He was born on March 3, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Jill (Canfield) Aspacher. Rock was an avid Harley Davidson rider enjoying many rides with his dear friends and family. But his true love was the water – Rock was born to be a captain. The past several years he enjoyed every possible moment on his yacht.
He recently retired from the Toledo Correctional Institution where he was a Corrections Officer.
Rock is survived by his mother Jill (Canfield) Aspacher; sister Lisa (Nissen) Perry; brothers Scott Aspacher, Allen (Gina) Aspacher and Dwight (Erica) Aspacher. He is also survived by long-time friend Debbie Short.
Rock is preceded in death by his father James Aspacher and brother-in-law Tom Perry.
