Roberta Mae Adams

Roberta Mae Adams, age 90, of Toledo, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Lake Park Comfort Care, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 25, 1921 to James and Luna Belle (Weis) Penn in Neffs, Ohio. Roberta was a longtime member of Redeemer Missionary Church. She was an avid sports fan, especially of baseball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Adams, Sr. and 3 brothers. Roberta is survived by her loving children, Roberta "Petie" (Howard) Henzler, Jacklyn "Dolly" (Richard) Karr and Jack (Vickie) Adams; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great- grandchildren; and close friends, Joan (Bob) and Cheryl.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
