Robert W. Felske, age 72 of Perrysburg passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2002 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 6, 1930 to Robert and Gladys (Anderson) Felske in Toledo, Ohio. Robert was a builder and real estate developer with Royal Development for 20 years retiring in 1982. He was a US Army Veteran serving his country in Korea. Robert was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and served on the original School Committee. He was credited with securing the property where the elementary and high schools stand today. Robert enjoyed gourmet cooking, fishing and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years; Joyce A. (Krueger) Felske, children: Robert "Lee" (Teresa) Felske, Mary Lou (Phil) Rudolph and Jim Felske, grandchildren; Bradley, Jennifer, Caitlin, Hunter, Courtney, Tiffany and Jimmy, and great grandson; Joshua.
The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 W. Laskey Rd. Officiating will be Pastor Baker. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
